Membership Application Form
The River Wye Gillies Association is dedicated to do whatever it can to improve the environment of the river Wye and its tributaries and in particular its stocks of fish of both game and coarse species. On behalf of all anglers we make representation to various bodies and have representatives on local fishery groups and the Wye Salmon Action Plan whilst other members are engaged in predation control measures etc.
In conjunction with the Salmon and Trout Association of which we are members, we also object on a regular basis to abstraction and foul water discharge applications as and when they occur. We also assist the Wye Foundation whenever possible and take part in the catch up of salmon for the hatchery.
Our membership is now open to all anglers who we hope will assist us in our common aim. Strength is in numbers and this is the main reason for seeking your support.
We hold our meetings on the last Thursday every other month (see home page for next meeting) and you are welcome to attend.
